Logistics
Wedding Destination
The wedding will take place at the JW Marriott in Mussoorie - a small town nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas. It is ~2-2.5 hours by road from Dehradun (the nearest airport) and ~7-8 hours by road from Delhi.
The logistics required to reach the final destination are well worth the effort, as will become abundantly clear the moment you arrive :)
International Travel
Delhi Airport is the closest international airport you'll likely be landing in before heading to Mussoorie. The international ticket to Delhi is expensive and more time sensitive, so go ahead and buy that ASAP!
PS: You should budget 2+ hours between landing at the Delhi/Bombay international terminal and the flight to Dehradun. If you're coming directly from abroad before the wedding, plan to arrive Wednesday night in Delhi (get a hotel close to the airport if you need to). If you're leaving for abroad directly from the wedding, plan to leave Sunday night (post 8 pm) at the earliest.
Domestic Travel
There are a 2 ways of getting to the JW: fly + drive or drive all the way.
If you'd like to drive all the way, plan for ~7-8 hours of driving time. Here are your cab rental options:

If you want to fly, you need to fly to Dehradun Airport. Here's all you need to know for domestic flight options:
Delhi To Dehradun
There's one convenient flight from Delhi to Dehradun daily. If you are arriving on Thursday May 23rd, please remember that the first event starts at 5:30pm so plan to land before 3pm. If you’d like to fly in a few days earlier, here are your options from Delhi:

We will arrange transfers from Dehradun airport to the wedding location on Thursday afternoon :)
Dehradun to Delhi
While there are no events on Sunday, we will be organizing drop offs to the airport starting 10am. Here are your options for flights back to Delhi:

If you’re flying back home on Sunday (May 26th) itself, please ensure your international flights are no earlier than 8pm to allow sufficient time for transfer to Delhi International terminal. If you do need to take an earlier international flight, you can arrange a cab drop off from the hotel back to Delhi any time in the day using the cab links above.
